I am in the LAX Las Angeles Airport this morning at 6:30am Pacific Time heading home to Boston. National meeting.

I went and saw Collective Soul last night at this place called the Roxy, so to say the least I got about a two hour nap before I took a car to the Airport

So I am sitting on this marble ledge in the American Terminal, and who walks by is Tommy Lasorda

So I was like " I have to go shake his hand. He walks into this Hudson News Stand. SO I say to myself, he must be getting himself a paper, and that would be a good time to go in and just shake his hand

Now he is wearing a Red Sweater sleaveless with a white Oxford, and I being hung over, I am dressed ok, but I have my Redsox (red) hat on. SO I am already thinking, I will play off his red sweater, and Say

"Hey Tommy it looks like you are coming our way, nice sweater!!!"

So as I walk in the HUdson News Stand, he had me beat by about 40 seconds,

Tommy is picking out his "porn magazine selection" SO I say to myself, Do not go up and say anything when the man is checking out Porn, which was hilarious in itself"

SO I walk by him, and kind of waited for him to move on, and he does, but in the time he is moving on, he folds the porn mag up in a roll, as to I guess be descreet

Now I have my chance, I go up and said my shpeal....and he liked it, and laughed, because the first thing he saw when he looked at me was my Red Hat........

DO you believe right after we shook hands, Tommy walked right out the HUDSON News door with his porn mag rolled up, and just swiped the mag, and just walked down the corridor
