Default CBB Saturday -- 15* GOY

Friday: 2-1 (+9.3*)

YTD: 25-9 (+106.4*)

10* plays: 4-0

15* GOY LSU -16

Guys, you know I follow Ole Miss very closely, like all the SEC. They had two home games last week to make a statement if they were ever going to, and they lost to a weak Auburn team and then Vandy blew them out. Last night, Coach Rod Barnes was fired. Will this fire up the Rebs? Hardly. If they were able to fight their way out of a paper bag, they would have by now. Meanwhile, this is LSU's last home game, and if they have their heads in this game at all, they cover this spread running away. The only possibility of a let-down is that they have already sewed up the SEC Championship, and they might have some sympathy for Barnes and let him go out in dignity. From the way the Rebs have been playing though, I planned on making this my GOY even is the spread was 20. Barnes getting fired yesterday threw me for a bit of a loop, but I don't think it's going to work against us. In fact, it might be exactly what we need. I just can't see these guys putting up much of a fight.

Best of luck to you.

Tyrus Thomas and Darryl Mitchell are still banged up and this game means absolute DICK for LSU...

Be careful here. I know Ole Miss is HORRIBLE, but LSU does not need this game for anything, so you'll see alot of Vgood and Maravich here today !!

with all due respect to your recent success reb i think it is missleading to our fellow posters/cappers to say that 25-9 is your YTD record in cbb. it is your record in last 34 plays only. having said that, i will go with your goy today. good luck to all of us.

win big, I explained very clearly that I was beginning to start posting on a regular basis for the first time this season, and that I would keep an accurate record from then through the tourney.

You are right in that I have posted games off and on throughout the year without keeping a record. However, I said I would keep an accurate record beginning then, and I have.

Certainly have no intentions of misleading anyone.

tosser, NY Reb said he would have made this his game of the year at -20, so I would say -17 is still good

Schouest, you have expressed my worst fears -- that LSU doesn't care about this game. That's why I was praying for them to lose at South Carolina. That need to win would have set this one up perfectly.

That said, I also thought the Rebels would show a little life at home last week, knowing Barnes' job was on the line. They showed nothing. I just cannot see them getting up to suddenly play the game of their lives on the road just because their coach was fired. They are lucky to be rid of him.

You got it right, JustWin. I think the Rebs are going to get this thing over with, get back to Oxford, and kick off those basketball shoes for a while.

I don't think they have a chance of covering UNLESS LSU decides to make a mockery of the game by not showing up. Can't see them doing this on their last home game of the season.

tosser, btw, if I put 15* on a game, or even 10*, one point don't mean squat.

I am seeing more and more "dogs" get the cash this week, and I think this may be the reason....Talent wise LSU is 30+ points better than this pile of Rebel poop... LSU needs to get their big guns healthy for the Big Dance, and man their bench is about the same level as Ole Miss..

For your sake I hope I'm wrong, but I'll sit this one out..bring on the others, and we'll see if we match up !!!

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK !!

That is AWESOME!!! 15 units are on LSU -17 (-110)

by the way, to the person who commented on NY Reb's record, i have followed his 10* picks for half of this season (when I started to visit the forum, (which I used to see only once every week or so), and they were all MONEY. I am extremely excited that NY Reb decided to post on a regular basis.

GL to everyone!

Thank you, tosser. I am happy that someone remembers that I used to post winners even before the current streak.

LOL, LSUpete, here we go again. Last time I had a major football play on LSU you couldn't believe that either.

Anyway, guys, take heed. The two LSU guys have both chimed in to say this is a bad play. I have to admit, I am mostly in this from the Ole Miss angle, and the horribalities regarding their program to this point. If you'd seen them against Auburn or Vandy in Oxford last week, you'd never want to see them on someone else's home court.

LSU guys don't see how LSU can cover the 16; Ole Miss guys don't see how Ole Miss can cover the 16. Take your pick, lol.

Reb,

The last thing I would ever intend is to come into your thread and poke fun at your picks......you KNOW I respect your prognosticating.

However, in this game, your worst enemy is going to be John Brady. Coach Brady is NOT going to sustain a 16 point lead. He will pull his starters and put in some guys who haven't played much this season, and IMHO suck balls and dick. We have a point guard that comes off the bench and absolutely looks HORRIBLE. THAT guy will be running the offense for MUCH of the second half.....with YOUR money on the line.

I will be on Ole Miss......HEAVY.
